Where I live… Yuba City, California!
I’ve been a BibRave Pro for… just over 2 years!
My main running goal for 2019 is… to regain my pre-pregnancy speed as I stay injury-free. My summer goal race is the Napa to Sonoma Wine Country half marathon. My big end-of-year goal race is the California International Marathon in December.
My favorite race distance is… half marathon or marathon.
My favorite races are… those that are fun and have great bling!
My playlist includes… albums such as “NOW That’s What I Call A Workout” – mixes with a specific BPM!
My pre-race routine… laying out all of my gear and clothes for a flat runner pic and eating some vegetarian Mexican food the night before. As for the morning of, I eat a banana & oatmeal, take a pre-race selfie, and line up ready to have a great race!
My race day gear checklist includes… BibRave Boco Gear Visor, BibRave shirt, Garmin, ProCompression socks, and Nike Dri-Fit Shorts.
Why I like being a BibRave Pro… the ability to test out great swag, the people I’ve met, and the opportunity to check out awesome races!
My favorite episode of The BibRave Podcast is… Episode 129: “Girl Gangs and Eating FOMO” where Katie Hynes talks about nutrition and her work with other female runners.
Post-race I always eat… whatever my body feels like eating. I’m usually not hungry right after a race. It takes me about an hour before I’m ready to sit down and eat a meal. The first thing I want right after a race is an ice cold drink!
