My running shoes are… Hoka One One Clifton 4.
My favorite race distance is… Half marathon.
My running goals for 2018 are… to hit a 4:15 marathon.
My favorite races are… Rock n Roll half marathons and the Giant Race.
My playlist includes… dance cardio on Pandora; I need upbeat & fast BPM’s to keep my heart rate pumping!
My pre-race routine… varies depending on the length of the race. I always make sure I’m properly hydrated, especially this time of year, when even the mornings start out at 65-79 degrees in Northern California. My favorite product to use is Nuun, and I am always drinking lots of water the day before.
My race day gear checklist includes… Aftershokz headphones, BibRave visor, compression socks, and my Clif Bloks energy chews!
Why I like being a BibRave Pro… the other runners are amazing & positive; the products we test & review have the newest technology & the greatest flavors; plus I love giving back to the running community!
My favorite episode of The BibRave Podcast is… Episode 76, the Disney Marathon recap. I ran that race with my husband & it was great to relive the weekend & see/hear about it from Jessica, Andy, and Tim’s perspective. It also gave me tons of ideas for the next time I visit Disney World!
Post-race I always… like to replenish my electrolytes so I don’t get a headache, do some light stretching, shower, eat, and then sit on my couch with my leg compression machine. It’s the greatest feeling in the world and really helps speed up my recovery process!
