Our BibRave Pros are a team of awesome run bloggers who run the best races and test the latest products. We asked each of our Pros to answer a few questions about themselves, their running history, and their favorite gear! If you have any comments or additional questions, let them know below!
Name: Ken Bray
Where I live… Lancaster, PA!
I’ve been a BibRave Pro for… this is my first year.
My main running goal for 2019 is… Running more trails, discovering the outdoors, and of course, chasing PRs!
My running shoes are… Road Running: Brooks Ghost, Brooks Launch. Trail Running: Salomon Speedcross, Merrell Agility.
My favorite race distance is… the half marathon!
My favorite races are… Hot Chocolate 15k, Hershey Half Marathon, and Hex Hollow Half.
My playlist includes… everything! However, Khruangbin is occupying the top of my list.
My pre-race routine… foam rolling, peanut butter protein shake, and a 5-10 minute jog to warm up.
My race day gear checklist includes… BoCo hat, shoes, Feetures socks, Honey Stinger Gels and Waffles, and Tailwind.
Why I like being a BibRave Pro… the community and the awesome energy around running!
My favorite episode of The BibRave Podcast is… one of the Bart Yasso interviews. In the first interview he was so down to earth and humble. It was a nice reminder for all of us to aspire to have the same attitude and outlook on running and life in general. And that attitude was really reflected in his book, so hearing him come back and interview again was really inspiring and interesting.
Post-race I always eat… banana and a Honey Stinger Waffle.

Our local running club does weekly trail runs and I’m a fan of tagging along. I almost like not knowing what’s ahead, that way I can’t psych myself out and learn to just go with the flow.
