Where I live… Miami, FL.
I’ve been a BibRave Pro since… July 2018!
My main running goal for 2019 is… to continue PRing, run 1400+ miles for the year, and continue growing as a runner.
My running shoes are… Brooks Ghost.
My favorite race distance is… the Marathon.
My playlist includes… I no longer run to music. It has been one of the most freeing experiences as a runner. I feel so much more in tune with myself.
My pre-race routine is… hydrate, hydrate, hydrate…and for a marathon I always do sushi the night before – it’s a great balance of carbs and protein – it’s the perfect meal for me.
My favorite races are… oh my there are so many to choose from, but off the top of my head I would say : Miami Half Marathon (the first race I ever did, and one I continue to run annually), 305 Half Marathon, NYC Half Marathon, Barcelona Marathon, Berlin Marathon and the EPIC NYC Marathon (thanks to BibRave!)
Why I like being a BibRave Pro… the community – we are from all over the country. It’s incredible to feel like you are a part of something bigger than yourself.
My favorite episode of The BibRave Podcast is… Episode 93: Improving your running life with your mind. I love the idea of finding the beauty in doubt and see it as a performance enhancer. Doubt makes us stronger. We need to welcome it in and embrace it! It’s all boils down to willingness – willingness to push through and keep going. As endurance athletes, we have to just trust the process.
Post-race I always eat… Depends on my mood…usually pizza.
