Where I live… Iowa.
I’ve been a BibRave Pro for… a few months!
My running shoes are… Nike Free Rn.
My favorite race distance is… both the 10K and 13.1 distances!
My running goals for 2018 are… to run 520 miles and run the Kansas City Marathon (half) for the first time!
My favorite race is… the Nebraska Marathon. It was my first half, and it holds a special place in my heart.
My playlist includes… everything from N’Sync to Eminem to Carrie Underwood. I have a very mixed playlist!
My pre-race routine… I can’t eat before a run, so I carb load a lot the night before. In the morning, I do a quick 5-minute yoga routine and hydrate.
My race day gear checklist includes… I always pair my BibRave shirt and hat with Skirt Sports Hover Skirt or Redemption Capris. I also always have my Aftershokz minis paired with my Garmin Forerunner 645 Music.
Why I like being a BibRave Pro… the community is so welcoming and inclusive to runners of all abilities.
My favorite episode of The BibRave Podcast is… Episode 89: Runners High- it was so interesting to hear that point of view, and I loved listening to Stephanie and everyone recap Boston. I had a blast tracking Stephanie, and it was great to hear about the journey from the runner and spectator points of views.
Post-race I always… eat Chinese food! I love Lo Mein noodles and General Tso’s chicken.
