My favorite race distance is… Half Marathon
My current personal best times are…
- Marathon: 4:44:43
- Half: 2:12:11
- 10K: 1:00:19
- 5K: 27:06
My running goals for 2018 are… My big goal is to run a race in every state so 2018 is getting to as many states as I can, then in the 2nd half of the year, I want to PR in a Marathon.
My playlist includes… Hardcore Rap & Heavy Metal.
My pre-race routine is: The night before I get everything I need ready, and of course, I take a flat runner pic. I get to bed early. Morning of I get up at least 2 to 2.5 hours before race time, and make sure I eat an English muffin with peanut butter and drink a bottle of water. I use the facilities, relax, get dressed, and then head on out.
My race day gear checklist includes… Shoes, FlipBelt, and AfterShokz (if it is winter then I need hat and gloves too… brrrr ❄️)
Why I like being a BibRave Pro… Testing out cool products, finding new races, and just talking with fellow runners.
My favorite episode of The BibRave Podcast is… The interview with YiOu Wang! She was fascinating, I love to travel so hearing all about hers and how she runs was great.
Post-race I always… I NEED coffee, I can’t drink coffee before a run so once I am done, first stop is either Dunkin or a local coffee shop. The best race for this was the Celebrate Life Half in NY. There was a Dunkin right at the finish line and my boyfriend had my coffee in hand as I crossed the finish line.
