On episode 39 of The BibRave Podcast, Tim and Julia welcome the founder of Race Guards (one of their favorite running/race organizations), Andy Voggenthaler!
Race Guards provide races with trained medical volunteers who operate in teams of two, running the entire length of the course and providing immediate medical care when needed. Andy started Race Guards after an incredible in-race emergency experience and he’s built an indispensable service to runners across the United States. The three of them also discuss some really important race-day medical and safety tips for us all to keep in mind.
You’ve probably seen Race Guards at races throughout the country, and if Andy gets his way, you’ll see them at many more 😉.
